John Green was born in Indianapolis in 1977. He is the author of six novels and two works of nonfiction, most recently a history of tuberculosis called Everything Is Tuberculosis. His work has won many awards, including a Los Angeles Times Book Prize, the Michael L. Printz Award, and an Indiana Authors Award. Green’s books have been published in more than 55 languages, and more than 60 million copies are in print worldwide. He has lived with his family in Indianapolis since 2007.
