Kevin Greenlee was born in Indianapolis and raised in Columbus. He is an attorney who received his bachelor’s degree and J.D. from Indiana University. His professional foray into true crime began in 2016, when he started investigating the Burger Chef murders and came to represent a victim’s relative pro bono. Greenlee and his wife, Áine Cain, founded The Murder Sheet, an investigative true crime podcast that has broken news on the Burger Chef murders and the Delphi murders. They published Shadow of the Bridge: The Delphi Murders and the Dark Side of the American Heartland in August 2025. He lives in Indiana with Áine and their dogs, Nick and Nora.
