Tasha is a mixed race Korean American melancholy dreamer. She grew up in a multicultural and biracial home and because of that, she’s spent her life navigating cultural collisions and liminal space. She sees the world best through stories and poetry. She is passionate about helping others notice beauty and embrace themselves as wholly beloved. She writes about everyday life, faith, and cultural and ethnic identity, and writing has always been the way she’s found hope and shalom. She lives in the greater Indianapolis area with her family. And though she had a complicated relationship with Indiana for throughout all of high school and college, and has left multiple times, she and her family have called Indiana home for more than the last decade. Her debut book, Tell Me the Dream Again: Reflections on Family, and the Sacred Work of Belonging is available now, wherever books are sold.

Tasha Jun has always been caught between worlds: American and Korean, faith and doubt, family devotion and fierce independence. As a Korean American, she wandered between seemingly opposing worlds, struggling to find a voice to speak and a firm place for her feet to land.
The world taught Tasha that her Korean normal was a barrier to belonging―that assimilation was the only way she would ever be truly accepted. But if that were true, did that mean God had made a mistake in knitting her together?
